Maricopa’s residents have a very high level of educational attainment. In all, nearly 40 percent hold a college degree: 11.4 percent with an AA degree; 16.5 percent with a bachelor’s degree and 8.8% with a graduate/professional degree. An additional 27.8 percent of Maricopans have had some college.
