Maricopa’s residents have a very high level of educational attainment. In all, nearly 40 percent hold a college degree: 11.9 percent with an AA degree; 16 percent with a bachelor’s degree and 9% with a graduate/professional degree. An additional 28.1 percent of Maricopans have had some college.
