A Peek Over The Fence: Maricopa is Building a Bright Future (Volume 3)

MARICOPA, AZ – May 7, 2020

Contractors, developers, and small business owners have been utilizing our existing virtual services to ensure that their projects continue on schedule! Maricopa continues to ensure work gets done while still being responsible and following public health guidelines and instructions. Tortosa

Tortosa, just outside the center of Maricopa, is rapidly approaching 50% capacity. One of the largest residential subdivisions in Maricopa, Tortosa already contains an elementary and middle school within its boundaries. This is in addition to its parks and recreation opportunities, including Frisbee Golf. Homebuilders working in Tortosa today include DR Horton and Starlight Homes. There are currently 1,175 built homes with 1,278 planned, for a total of 2,453.

Lakes at Rancho El Dorado

The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado, named for its focal water features, continues to build with Richmond American Homes and Meritage Homes. The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado has built its tranquil atmosphere with walking paths, green spaces, and its namesake waterfront. With 40% of homes completed, The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado are filling in the gaps of the northern-most residential subdivisions. There are currently 658 built homes with 950 planned, for a total of 1,608.

Homestead

From lakes and parks to basketball, baseball, and volleyball courts, Homestead features a wealth of recreation opportunities. With nearly 90% of homes built, Homestead is approaching full build-out of the 640-acre residential subdivision. Homebuilders in Homestead include Gehan Homes and Meritage Homes. There are currently 2,082 built homes with 324 planned, for a total of 2,406.

Province

Maricopa’s Active Adult Living community, Province, is developing its final few parcels. Already completed are the community’s wealth of amenities – from tennis courts, to an outdoor amphitheater, to a community-exclusive cafe. With Meritage Homes continuing to build, the community will soon have 75% of homes completed. There are currently 1,616 built homes with 598 planned, for a total of 2,214.
